Photos: Bridgehampton Benefit For Physcians Committee

A benefit for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine was held at a private wine club in Bridgehampton on Saturday, July 25.

The event was hosted by Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander at his club, Société du Vin.

“Leslie Alexander’s boundless compassion and longtime friendship with the Physicians Committee has helped keep countless animals out of laboratories,” Physicians Committee president Neal Barnard, M.D. said. “Mr. Alexander played an immense role in the Physicians Committee’s first 30 years of lifesaving achievements, and I look forward to sharing the next 30 years of successes with him, too.”

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin will serve as honorary chairs of the event along with chairs John Bradham, Dorothy Frankel, and Michael Schwarz.

A total of 65 guests attended the event including: Noah Gittell; Sony Schotland; Physician Committee scientists Dr. Mei Lai, Dr. Francesca Pistollato, and Kristie Sullivan; Ann Parkin; Josh Rasch; Victoria von Schantz; Andre Ardito; Cassie Karopkin; Darshana Thacker; filmmaker Brian Wendel; and Liz Brown, (all pictured above).
