Plum Hamptons, the East End television station that is part of the Plum-TV network, received a nomination for a prestigious award on Wednesday. The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced during a nomination ceremony at the CUNY-TV studios in Manhattan that Plum is in the running for a local Emmy. The nod comes in the "Arts: Program/Special" category for the segment "Craftsmanship" on "Plum Nation," a weekly news magazine hosted and produced by <a href="http://www.nickleighton.com/about/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Nick Leighton</a> and broadcast April 2, 2012. The 56th Annual New York Emmy Awards will be held in Times Square on April 24, when the winner will be revealed.
