Police: Man Drove Drunk With Daughter in Car
The 31-year-old was arrested after a traffic stop early Sunday on County Route 104, police say.

A Riverhead man was arrested early Sunday morning after he drove drunk with his 14-year-old daughter in his car, State Police said.
Jose M. Lopez, 31, is charged with aggravated DWI–a felony under Leandra’s Law–and endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police stopped Lopez’s vehicle on County Route 104 in Southampton Town around 12:50 a.m. He was determined to be intoxicated and placed under arrest, police said. His daughter was a passenger in the car, police said.

Lopez was transported to the Suffolk County Jail, where he was held for arraignment Sunday morning at Southampton Town Justice Court.
