Police: Three Cashiers Arrested For Selling Alcohol to a Minor
Police conducted an underage drinker enforcement operation on Monday.

Three cashiers at stores in Southampton and Hampton Bays were arrested during an Underage Drinker Enforcement Operation conducted on Monday, State Police said.
The New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted the operation, with three stores cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative.
According to police, arrested and charged with unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage were:

- Kenneth R. Sarcona, 57, of East Quogue, a clerk at Hampton Beverage in Hampton Bays
- Alesandro Garcia Jimenez, 36, of Southampton, a clerk at the South Fork Deli in Southampton
- George M. Sullivan, 22, of East Quogue, a clerk at Hampton Bays Wine and Spirit in Hampton Bays
All three were issued appearance tickets returnable to Southampton Town Court at a later date.
Police said the following seven businesses were also checked and were found to be in compliance:
