Poxabogue Golf Center Open For Season

SAGAPONACK, NY — In a sure sign that summer is coming, the Poxabogue Golf Center is now open for the season in Sagaponack.

The 39-acre course offers an array of programs for adults and juniors, and was featured as one of the Top 10 Short Courses in the Country by the Golf Channel, Southampton Town officials said.

Following is a list of some of the programs offered this year at the golf center:

Adult Clinics

Each month, the Adult Clinic will take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. for five sessions:

• • June: June 13, 15, 20, 22, and 27
• • July: July 11, 13, 18, 20, and 25
• • August: August 8, 10, 15, 17, and 22

Demo Days, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Sunday, July 9, Ping
• Saturday, July 15, Cobra
• Saturday, July 22, Callaway & Cleveland/XXIO
• Saturday, July 29, Mizuno

• Saturday, August 12, Ping
• Sunday, August 13, Mizuno
• Saturday, August 19, Titleist
• Sunday, AUGUST 20, Cleveland/XXIO

Junior Golf Camp

The Golf Center is offering Junior Golf Camp for a total of 10 sessions/weeks beginning June 26.

In addition to the adult and junior clinics, junior golf camp patrons can take advantage of playing the 9-hole golf course, using the practice range or taking golf lessons. The 9 hole, walking, golf course has 3 par 4s and 6 par 3s. Instructors on staff are also available for private lessons, group lessons or playing lessons.
