SAG HARBOR, NY — A Sag Harbor man was busted after he was caught with cocaine in Montauk, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Shane T. Cavanaugh, 20, was arrested on Oct. 11 at 3:50 a.m. on Montauk Highway and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance that later field tested positive for the presence of cocaine was found in his wallet.
He was released on his own recognizance, police said.
