Sag Harbor's 'Real Housewives' Star Kicked Cop In Florida: Report

SAG HARBOR, NY — Luann de Lesseps, star of "Real Housewives of New York," was arrested early on Christmas Eve after authorities said she slammed a door and kicked at least one police officer, the Palm Beach Post reported. De Lesseps, known on the show as "The Countess," faces felony charges including battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting with violence and corruption by threat, the report said.

According to the newspaper, De Lesseps threatened to kill people before she was arrested.

De Lesseps, 52, was released from Palm Beach County Jail just before 11:30 a.m. on her own recognizance.

Judge Ted Booras, who told de Lesseps she might have a drinking problem, can return to New York, the Post said.

After divorcing Tom D'Agostino De Lesseps moved back in to her Sag Harbor, New York, home on Long Island.
