Search On For Man Who Damaged String Of Cars In Sagaponack
A man placed screws on the road, damaging the tires on vehicles, police say.

SAGAPONACK, NY — The search is on for whoever damaged cars in Sagaponack this summer, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who caused damage to vehicles in Sagaponack, police said.
A man placed screws in the street on Potato Road and Daniels Road in late June and early July, resulting in damage to tires on approximately half a dozen vehicles, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
