SOUTHAMPTON, NY — People from all across the country — including Southampton residents — will get the chance to cast their votes and elect their representatives on Tuesday.
Here's what you need to know before hitting the polls:
Election day - Tuesday, Nov. 5
Time - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Southampton Town:
Supervisor - Incumbent Jay Schneiderman (D) is being challenged by Gregory Robins (R) and Alex Gregor (Libertarian, Independence)
Receiver of Taxes — Gordon Herr, a Democrat, is facing off against Theresa Kiernan (R).
Town Justice: Gary Weber (R) is running unopposed.
Town Board: Democrats John Bouvier and Craig Catalanotto are running against Republicans Richard Martel and Charles McArdle, as well as Hannah Pell (Independence).
Trustees: Voters can pick five of the following trustee candidates: Bill Pell, Ann Welker, David Mayer, Eric Shultz, Andrew Brosnan, Thea Fry, Megan Heckman, Scott Horowitz, Donald Law, Edward J. Warner, Jr., and Fred Havemayer.
Suffolk County Executive - Incumbent Steven Bellone (D) is being challenged by John Kennedy Jr. (R) and Gregory-John Fischer (Lib).
Suffolk County Legislature District 2 - Incumbent Bridget Fleming (D) is being challenged by Linda Kabot (R).
