Southampton Hospital's Palliative Care Program Re-Certified, Awarded Seal of Approval

Southampton Hospital’s Palliative Care program has been re-certified by and awarded The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for complying with the Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality and safety.

The program was coordinated by Jane Edelman, RN, OCN, CBCN, NC-BC.

“We are gratified to know that our Palliative Care program has met the high standards of service set by The Joint Commission, and knowing that we are providing our patients with the best possible, compassionate care,” Robert S. Chaloner, Hospital President and CEO said.
