Southampton Lifeguard Competition Rescheduled To Monday
The event was postponed due to Thursday's heavy rain.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Due to Thursday's inclement weather, Southampton's Lifeguard Competition has been postponed to Monday at 6 p.m. at Scott Cameron Beach in Bridgehampton.
The annual inter-beach competition features teams of lifeguards from the town’s beaches located east of the canal competing against teams of guards from west of the canal.
The competition also serves as preparation for the East Hampton Main Beach Lifeguard Tournament on July 20, town staffers said.
