Southampton Man With 11 License Revocations Caught Driving Drunk: Cops
He admitted to drinking 8 Heinekens and refused a breath test, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man with 11 license revocations was caught driving drunk on County Road 39, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, Arlin Josue Castro, 23, was arrested at 2:41 a.m. on July 20 and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, two counts of second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Castro was stopped while driving a 2017 Ford Fusion west on County Road 39 at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain his lane of travel, police said.

A computer check revealed that he had 11 revocations on his license, a revocation for operating without auto insurance, and a suspension for failure to pay child support, police said.
Castro admitted that he had consumed eight Heinekens throughout the night; he refused to take the intoxilyzer breath test, police said.

Castro was taken into custody and his vehicle was seized as per the Suffolk County Vehicle Seizure Law; he was held overnight for a morning arraignment, police said.
He was released after posting $500 cash bail, police said.
