Southampton Man Caught With Controlled Substance: Cops
He was held in lieu of $7,500 bail, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was arrested after he was caught with a controlled substance, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, Ernest H. Murphy Jr., 60, was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, as well as violating a judicial order, a misdemeanor.
Murphy was remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverside in lieu of $7,500 cash bail, police said.
