Southampton Man Caught With Heroin: Cops
He was cuffed after a domestic incident involving larceny, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was caught with heroin, police said.
According to New York State Police, on July 25 at 11:21 p.m., Alex L. Trotman, 29, was arrested and charged with larceny and possession of heroin stemming from a domestic incident.
After the initial call, Trotman was located later the next morning and while being placed under arrest for the domestic incident for larceny, was found to have heroin in his possession, police said.

Trotman was transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside, processed, and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and petty larceny, police said.
Trotman was held and arraigned that morning at Southampton Justice Court, police said.
