Southampton Man Nabbed For Driving Drunk: Police
He was arrested after a traffic stop, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk recently, police said.
According to New York State Police, 57, Charles J. Pettaway was arrested on May 29 and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for failing to maintain lane on Montauk Highway in Southampton.
Pettaway was transported to New York State Police Barracks Riverside and was processed without incident, police said.
