Southampton School Budget Passes, Board Members Elected

Southampton residents approved the district’s $65.1 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 482-222.

The budget represents a 4.62 percent spending increase over the current year.

On the Southampton Board of Education, Roberta O. Hunter and Donald King were elected to the two open seats for four year terms.
