WATCH: Officer Rescues Duckling in Wantagh
Dramatic duckling rescue caught on camera at Mill Pond Park.

A Nassau County Police officer came to the rescue of a tiny duckling Friday afternoon in Wantagh.
Allison Mugno-Clancy was at Mill Pond Park in Wantagh when one of her children spotted a duckling in distress. The baby bird was struggling to get out of a hole in a waterfall, officials said.
Mugno-Clancy attempted to save the duckling herself before calling the police for help.
