Southampton Town to Host Beach Clean-Up, Scavenger Hunt This Weekend

The event will take place rain or shine.

Southampton Town Councilwoman Christine Scalera and BEACH Magazine are sponsoring a beach clean-up and scavenger hunt this weekend.

The event will take place at Flying Point Beach on 1055 Flying Point Road in Southampton on Saturday August 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., rain or shine.

The annual Kids Beachcomber Clean-Up Contest and Scavenger Hunt is for children of all ages, and prizes from Dylan’s Candy Bar and Stevensons Toys will be given out to the top beachcomber and scavenger hunt winners.

The Town will provide each participant with materials for the clean-up and scavenger hunt and King Kullen has donated paper bags for the trash collection that the kids can decorate and personalize.
