Thief Sought Who Stole Dump Truck, Crashed Into Guardrail: Cops
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The search is on for a person who stole and crashed a dump truck last month — and then crashed it into a guardrail in Westhampton, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who, on Nov. 28, stole a 2008 Ford F-350 dump truck with a black landscape trailer attached from the area of 157 Montauk Highway, police said.
A short time later, the stolen truck was crashed into a guardrail and utility pole near the intersection of Montauk Highway and Mill Road, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police said.
