Thief Steals 1800s Mantel Clock, Jewelry From Hamptons Home: Cops

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A man broke into a Southampton home and stole an antique mantel clock dating back to the 1800s, as well as jewelry, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Village Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people in connection with the burglary at the Southampton home on April 10 at 4:40 p.m., police said.

The suspect fled in a waiting silver minivan, possibly a Chevrolet Venture, police said.
