Tuckahoe School Budget Passes, Board Member Elected

Tuckahoe residents approved the district’s $19 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 181-92.

The budget represents a 1.6 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a 3.73 percent hike in the school tax levy.

On the Tuckahoe Board of Education, Sean Hattrick ran unopposed and received a total of 190 votes.
