Two people were hospitalized after a crash on County Road 39 in Southampton on Wednesday night, according to a report in 27east.
The accident occurred between a Toyota Prius and a Chevy Marina at about 8:15 p.m., according to the report. Two unidentified people were airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, 27east reports.
Traffic was backed up along the road and responders were at the scene until about midnight, according to the report.
