Woman Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Light Post: Police
She was arrested Wednesday night in Hampton Bays, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-car crash Wednesday night, police said.
Paula Lester, 65, struck a light post at 9:47 p.m. at Skippers Cottages on E. Montauk Highway, police said.
She was stopped shortly after, arrested, and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said.
