SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Mastic woman was arrested after she was caught driving drunk on Sunrise Highway in Southampton, police said.
According to New York State Police, on Dec. 3, Xiomara A. Mena Gonzalez, 30, was arrested and charged with DWI following a traffic stop for multiple traffic violations while traveling west on Sunrise Highway.
A subsequent investigation revealed that she was intoxicated and she was transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside to be processed, police said; at the police barracks, Mena Gonzalez refused to submit to a chemical test, police said.

Mena Gonzalez was held for arraignment at Town of Southampton Justice Court, police said.
