Here are some of the incidents to which Carmel Police responded last month.

CARMEL, NY â Here are some of the incidents to which Carmel Police responded in June.
On June 1, Carmel Police arrested Gregory Bonadio 26, a resident of Danbury CT, after he turned himself in to Carmel Police on active Arrest Warrant out of the Town of Carmel Justice Court. He was arraigned
by Judge Spofford and released on his own recognizance with future court date.
On June 1, Carmel Police arrested Theresa Dickerson, 59, from the Bronx after a physical
dispute that turned violent. The incident occurred at Arms Acres where she was placed in custody for
assault, Dickerson was charged with a class D Felony. Subject was released on her own recognizance,
scheduled to appear at future court date.

On June 2, Carmel Police arrested Jason Scarpitta 41, of Carmel for Assault in the 3rd Degree after an
incident at Tops Supermarket in the hamlet of Carmel. He was issued an appearance ticket and released
on his own recognizance.
On June 8, Carmel Police arrested Michele Ciacci 32, a resident of South Salem. The incident occurred at
Tops supermarket where the defendant was allegedly putting items into her purse. The defendant was
charged with Petit Larceny and was released with an appearance ticket to return to court at a future date.

On June 8, Carmel Police arrested Robert Perrelli 28, of Mahopac, after he was stopped by Town of
Newburgh Police on an active Arrest Warrant out of the Town of Carmel Justice Court. Robert Perrelli
was transported back to Carmel Police Department and processed. He was arraigned by Judge Jacobellis
and ROR with future court date.
On June 11, Carmel Police arrested a 51 year old Mahopac man after investigation revealed that he had
driven a vehicle onto the front lawn of a residence on Mt Hope Rd, in Mahopac. A check of NYS DMV
showed that he does not possess a valid driverâs license and was subsequently charged with Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court
date.
On June 18, Carmel Police arrested a 19 year old Mahopac man after investigation revealed that the
defendant had backed into another vehicle in a local parking lot. A check of NYS DMV showed that he
did not possess a valid driverâs license he was processed at the Carmel Police Department for Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree as well as leaving the sense from an auto accident. He was
released on his own recognizance.
On June 20, Carmel Police arrested Damontray Ayala, 23, a Mahopac resident, after he was picked up by
Putnam County Sheriffâs Office and it was discovered that there was an active Arrest Warrant out of the
Town of Carmel Justice Court. Mr. Ayala was held on $500 cash bail.
On June 24, Carmel Police arrested a 41 year old Mahopac man after he left the scene of a motor vehicle
accident he was involved in. Driving with a revoked license, the subject was charged with a Misdemeanor of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. He was released on his own recognizance.
