Brewster Filling Seats on Planning, Zoning Board

The Village of Brewster is seeking individuals to serve the community on the Planning or Zoning Boards.

Interested individuals must be:

· A resident of the Village

· A citizen of the United States

· At least 18 years of age.

· Able to communicate verbally and in writing

· Able to remain impartial while hearing evidence for or against an applicant

· Of high ethical standards

· Able and willing to follow the rules of procedure for your board and contribute to meetings in a constructive way.

· Able to attend meetings when required (typically one meeting per month)

· Able to attend required training (4 hours annually)

This is a part-time community service position, which carries a nominal stipend for attendance at meetings and reimbursement of expenses for training with prior approval.
