A group of musicians from Brewster High School left for China yesterday as part of a cultural exchange program, according to Eric Gross writing in the Putnam Courier.
Director of Music George Viglucci told Gross that music is a “universal language. Regardless of the vernaclular you speak— be it English or Chinese, music is everywhere.”
The exchange program sends the Brewster kids to Jinping High School a month after students from Beijing 101 High School came here.
