Brewster Theater Company presents Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple”.
Anyone who has ever had a roommate can relate to the conflict that forms the basis of Neil Simon's “The Odd Couple”. Brewster Theater Company is pleased to announce their production of the original play with alternating performances of a female version.
Oscar/Olive Madison and Felix/Florence Unger are the ultimate dysfunctional roommates; after only three weeks of living together, they have driven each other out of their minds. What started as a sincere effort to help a friend evolves into a major source of conflict, as the two disagree about orderliness, responsibility, personal space and everything else. In order for their friendship to continue, their living arrangement must end - but not before providing Simon's comic version of what happens, in varying degrees, to all roommates.
