Brewster's Thanksgiving Day Forecast and Beyond

BREWSTER, NY — The Hudson Valley is looking at a mixed bag weather-wise for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Indeed, some of the region is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook with a slight chance of a light wintry blend of snow, sleet and freezing rain developing late Wednesday and continuing into early Thursday morning.

The chance of some form of precipitation — whether it’s rain or, in the more northern areas, snow — will continue into the midday Saturday, leaving Sunday the only day where sunshine will predominate.

Thanksgiving Day
Cloudy. A slight chance of freezing rain... Snow and light sleet in the morning...then a chance of light rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

Thursday Night
Cloudy with a chance of drizzle. Lows in the mid 30s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.

Friday
Mostly cloudy. A chance of sprinkles in the morning... Then a chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
