Carmel Woman Accused of Burgling Empty Houses
Police allege she and two others are behind a rash of break-ins in Wappinger.

Between Dec. 14 and 17, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested the following people: James S. Evans, age 22, and Anamile Gomez, age 23, both of Wappingers Falls, New York, and Stephanie N. Ilardi, age 20, of Carmel, New York.
All three were charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony. They were also charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools, and Unlawful Possession of Radio Devices, all Misdemeanors.
Police were investigating burglaries carried out on vacant homes in the Wappinger area.
Each was arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Court. Evans was released after posting bond, and Gomez and Ilardi were both released under the supervision of Probation. They were scheduled for future appearances at the Town of Wappinger Court.
