Construction to Close Main Street Nov. 5-11 in Brewster but Businesses will Remain Open

From the Brewster Village Clerk:

Beginning Wednesday November 5th through Tuesday November 11th, Main Street will be CLOSED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS between Merritt St. and Oak Street/Marvin Ave to allow for completion of the Rte 6 Retaining Wall/Culvert Replacement project.

Access to Merritt, Oak and Marvin will remain open for traffic.

The closing to through traffic will be in effect 24 hours a day. Please use alternate routing to go around the affected construction area.

Electronic signage at both ends of Main Street will alert travelers of the detour.

Main Street businesses will remain open and accessible during this time.
