Debris Found from Plane Missing on Approach to Danbury Airport Found
Yorktown firefighters helped search for the plane that went missing Thursday.
New York State police said they found debris from the missing plane that was headed to Danbury Airport Thursday afternoon, NBC Connecticut reports.
The plane vanished near the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem, New York, which is about 20 minutes from Danbury, NBC reports.

The plane, which lost contact with the airport around 4 p.m. Thursday, is said to have gone missing near the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem, N.Y., the Journal News reports. Multiple authorities responded to the search, which was called off after 1 a.m. Friday due to thick fog.
