Deputies Arrest Mother, Daughter On Route 22
The incident involved drunken driving and drugs, the Putnam Sheriff's Office said.
SOUTHEAST, NY — Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrests of a mother and daughter on charges related to Driving While Intoxicated and Drug Possession.
At 5:59 p.m. Sept. 5, Deputy Matthew Shelters saw a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway in the area of 1010 State Route 22 in Southeast. After investigation he concluded that the vehicle’s driver, Erica Turen, 45, of Patterson, was allegedly intoxicated.
Turen's daughter, Amber Holic, 19, arrived on the scene. Police allege that the vehicle contained Concentrated Cannabis which belonged to Holic.

Both Turen and Holic were placed under arrest and transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for arrest processing.
Turen was charged with Driving While Intoxicated- Operating a Motor Vehicle while having a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 or more (Misdemeanor), and Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor). Holic was processed and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor).

Both women were released on their own recognizance and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Southeast Justice Court.
