Drug Charge For Fishkill Man At Putnam Plaza
He had heroin, cocaine and needles, a Putnam sheriff's deputy alleged.
CARMEL, NY — A Fishkill man is due in Carmel town court to answer charges of drug possession
and illegal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
On June 20, 2019, Deputy Jonathan Irwin observed suspicious activity between a man and woman at Putnam Plaza on Route 52 in Carmel. Irwin informed Deputy Brian Sacher about the suspicious activity and Sacher made contact with the man at Putnam Plaza.
Sacher found that the man, Nickolas Snowden-Decola, age 23, of Fishkill, was in possession of heroin, cocaine and hypodermic needles (for which he did not provide a prescription), police alleged.

Snowden-Decola was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (Class A Misdemeanor). Mr. Snowden-Decola posted $250.00 cash bail. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Carmel Justice Court and was released pending a future court date, Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. reported.
