On Oct. 21, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Luis A. Osorio, 39, of Brewster for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched by Putnam County 911 to investigate a collision on State Route 6. An investigation revealed that Osorio was traveling westbound on Carmel Avenue and struck two parked vehicles. Subsequent investigation concluded that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Osorio provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .21%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. He posted $500 station bail and was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southeast Court on November 5, 2015.
