DWI for Carmel Man on the Taconic

New York State Police arrested Joseph M. Beach, of Carmel, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers were dispatched Jan. 27 to an erratic vehicle complaint on the Taconic State Parkway. Police stopped the suspect vehicle and interviewed the operator, who identified himself as Beach. They concluded the 30-year-old was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Beach was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a prior DWI related conviction within the previous 10 years.

Beach was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on Feb. 4.
