DWI Charge in Southeast for CT Woman
Her driving privileges in New York had been suspended, police said.

A Connecticut woman whose driving privileges in New York were already suspended, police said, faces a DWI charge in Southeast.
At 12:58 a.m., Oct. 8, Deputy Sheriff Kevin Radovich reported he observed a motorist commit a series of traffic violations along Route 312 and International Boulevard.
After he initiated a traffic stop, Radovich concluded that the driver, identified as Genie L. Taylor, 33, of Seymour, Connecticut was intoxicated, police said.

He also found that Taylor had been driving while her privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York is suspended.
The deputy arrested Taylor and charged her with Driving While Intoxicated and with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree, misdemeanors. Police said the woman failed a series of standardized field sobriety tests.

She was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment. If found guilty of the misdemeanor charges, the defendant faces up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000 for each charge.
