Four Arrested on Heroin, Gun Charges in Mahopac: Police

MAHOPAC, NY - Four people were arrested on heroin and gun charges in Mahopac on Dec. 1, following a months-long investigation by law enforcement entities from Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess counties.

Arrested were Thomas Simmons, 35, of Mahopac; Alyssa Feldman, 23, of Dutchess County; Joshua Fields, 27, from Florida; and Louis Carr, 50, of Mahopac, reports The Journal News.

Undercover officers bought heroin from Simmons on numerous occasions, according to authorities, which led to police raiding his home on Steiner Drive home. During the search, authorities seized drugs, distribution paraphernalia and several guns.
