Free Rabies Vaccine for Putnam County Residents
Cats and ferrets need to be in carriers; dogs, on leashes.

All Putnam County residents can bring their dogs, cats and ferrets to a free rabies vaccination clinic.
Sponsored by the Putnam county Department of Health, the clinic is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
It will be held at Brook Farm Veterinary Center, 2371 Route 22 in Patterson.

You will need to bring a photo ID for proof of residency, along with written proof of prior rabies vaccination, in order to allow the pets to receive a three-year vaccine.
Without written proof, the pet can only receive a vaccine good for one year.

Dogs must be leashed and controllable. Cats and ferrets must be in carriers.
