Jeanne E. Davidson of Brewster Dies at 93

Jeanne E. Davidson of Brewster, NY, died on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home. She was 93 years old.

Jeanne was born on October 4, 1922 in Mt.Vernon, NY to Carleton and Olive (Sutherland) Este. She graduated from White Plains High School.

On June 29, 1957 Jeanne married William R. Davidson. He predeceased her on June 4, 1983. Together they moved to Brewster, NY and raised their family.

Mrs. Davidson worked for Oxmans Stationary for over 15 years before retiring. She was a volunteer at Putnam Hospital Center for 25 years. But her most important role was being a mom and grandmother.

Jeanne is survived by her two Daughters, Ann Paltridge (Kent) of East Islip, NY and Janet (Thomas) Lannon of Brewster, NY and two grandchildren, Thomas Jr. and Renee Jeanne.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster assisted the family with arrangements.
