Newbery Award Winning Book Club (for grades 3rd, 4th & 5th) at Kent Public Library

First Book will be “The Graveyard Book” by Neil Gaiman.
Book Club is designed to read the Newbery- Award winning books. Club is for 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. We’ll discuss the history behind the Award and the man named John Newbery. The book club will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. These books are often on list of summer reading, they are a favorite of parents and teachers. We’ll have fun reading them, and doing book related activities. Registration is required, as is having read the book completely before our meetings.
