NY State Court Officers Endorses DA Adam Levy
Levy is being challenged for the post by Putnam Valley Town Supervisor Bob Tendy.

Putnam County District Attorney Adam Levy has earned the endorsement of the New York State Court Officers Association.
Levy, a 3-time incumbent, is being challenged for the post by Putnam Valley Town Supervisor Bob Tendy.
“Our members have seen firsthand the tremendous impact of the many initiatives put in place by DA Levy,” said Dennis Quirk, president of the New York State Court Officers Association. “They are seeing stronger cases leading to more convictions, fewer repeat offenders, and public corruption prosecutions for the first time in decades.”
NYSCOA’s members have been impressed by the unprecedented expansion of Putnam’s Drug Treatment Court and Mental Health Court, which has allowed certain nonviolent offenders, including war veterans battling PTSD, to avoid incarceration by getting treatment, staying sober, and turning their lives around. They say this has drastically changed the number of repeat offenders navigating the justice system, and returned healthier, happier people back to the community.
“Adam Levy has built an impressive team within the DA’s office. His prosecutors are professional, ethical, smart, and meticulous. They are tough when they need to be, and fair,” Quirk said. “He has created the perfect model of what the NYSCOA wants to see in our courts day after day.”
