The sheriff’s department said the most memorable was a 2-year-old child who went missing in the Roaring Brook area of the Town of Putnam Valley.
Duncan tracked the child to a wooded area where Deputy Vincent Dalo heard the faint cry of the child who was then found behind a tree, safe but scared.
