A NYS certified law enforcement agency, the SPCA is given full “police powers” to enforce the laws of New York State, specifically those that pertain to animals. Their officers conduct criminal investigations, make arrests, and work with all other law enforcement agencies. They respond to calls from residents of Putnam County as well as area police departments. They are available to speak to schools and at other functions regarding animal cruelty.
Can’t attend the function? Donations may be mailed to the Putnam County SPCA, P.O. Box 850, Brewster, NY 10509 or made online on the website.
