New York State has allotted $128 million in new funding for roadways affected by this year's harsh winter weather. Funding will support 91 paving projects and the renewal of about 1,000 lane miles of pavement across the state, including at least one project in every county and the City of New York.
That more than doubles what the state had alloted: $100 million.
It includes one project in Putnam County: $2.8 million to resurface Route 22 from the Westchester County line to Route 6 in Brewster.
