Thefts at Garrison Golf Club, Buchanan Woman Accused
She has been arraigned on grand larceny.

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Westchester County woman on a charge of grand larceny following an investigation into ongoing larcenies at the Garrison Golf Club.
Meghan Gilbert, aged 21, of Buchanan, New York was arrested Oct. 4 by Criminal Investigator Shaun Menton and charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a felony.
Police allege that Gilbert, while employed in the Pro Shop of the Garrison Golf Club located at 2015 Route 9 in the Town of Philipstown had been stealing cash from the register over the course of a three-week period. The proceeds from the larcenies totaled $1,150 in cash. When the establishment discovered the thefts, they notified the Sheriff’s Department and an investigation was initiated.

When interviewed, Gilbert admitted to taking cash from the register multiple times on multiple dates, police said. She was arraigned before Town of Putnam Valley Justice Louis DiCarlo and released in her own recognizance pending a future appearance in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court to answer the charges.
If found guilty of the felony charge, she faces up to four years in a New York State Correctional Facility and a fine.
