Three Theatre Workshops for Children & Teens in Brewster
Alice in Wonderland for ages 6-12 Spring Break - Peter Pan for ages 8 - 18 Winter Break 3 day Classical Theatre Workshops for ages 11 - 18

Spotlight Arts is proud to announce three different theatre workshops for children and teens. The workshops teach theatrical craft while providing performance opportunities in a fun and positive learning environment.
Each workshop caters to a different age group and all provide students an opportunity to develop their theatrical talents as well as social, emotional and academic skills.
The spring musical theatre junior workshop, Alice In Wonderland Jr., is designed for students ages 6 through 12. This 12-week program meets once a week on Fridays from 4-6:30pm beginning February 12th and the end result is a full workshop production of the tale of “Alice in Wonderland” on Saturday, May 7th. Students experience a full production with costumes, lighting, sound & scenery.

Looking for something fun to do over Spring Break? Join the Spring Break Musical Theatre Intensive Workshop. Improve your acting, singing, and dance skills, acquire new technique, and put up a show in less than a week! The musical to be performed will be Peter Pan Jr.! This program is open for ages 8-18. The workshop meets daily from Monday, March 21st through Thursday, March 24th from 9am-3pm. Thursday, March 24th will be an extended day to include a full workshop production with costumes, lighting, sound & scenery. Space is limited and early registration discounts are available.
Teens are offered a special opportunity in the Winter Break Classical Theatre Workshop which will take place daily Sunday, February 14th through Tuesday, February 16th from 9am – 3pm. Students will learn about the techniques of performing Shakespeare and classical theatre and perform scenes from the classical playwrights’ plays! This will be a great experience for students who seek more advanced training and want to gain a better understanding for classical acting skills. The workshop will end with a workshop presentation on Tuesday, February 16th.
