Troopers Make 3 Weekend DWI Arrests in Southeast
State Police in Troop K reported removing 18 impaired drivers from public roadways over the April 20 weekend.
SOUTHEAST, NY — State Police in Troop K reported removing 18 impaired drivers from public roadways over the April 20 weekend. Three of the arrests were in Southeast.
On April 20, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Carlos V. Ludisaca Yungasaca, 27, of Danbury, CT, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was found parked on the shoulder of the controlled access highway. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
On April 21, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Gentian Dushi, 44, of Queens, NY, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony. He was traveling on Milltown Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol with a child in the vehicle, police said.

On April 21, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Jose D. Aguirre Portillo, 30, of Southeast, NY, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on North Main Street in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
