Winter Parking Rules Go Into Effect Soon In Carmel

CARMEL, NY — The Town of Carmel Police Department would like to remind everyone about the winter all-night parking regulations. No one may park a vehicle on any highway in Carmel between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. between Nov. 15 and April 15.

The purpose of this regulation (Town Code 147-17) is to facilitate the safe and effective removal of snow during the winter season.

The Town of Carmel Police Department asks that residents be aware of the parking restrictions
and comply with them.
