Bites Nearby: Boulder Creek

You're going to want to wear a cowboy hat when going to this restaurant.

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

Boulder Creek

Overview: Steak, steak, and more steak. Oh and a few other things, too.

Decor: Boulder Creek looks like a man’s den. It is a little dark and almost everything is made out of wood: the booths, the tables, the chairs. There are signs hammered into the posts that almost make the place seem a little western, like you expect a cowboy to walk in at any second.

The Drinks: They have sodas like Pepsi, Sprite, and root beer for the people who aren’t over the age of 21. For the older crowd, though, they have an array of alcoholic beverages - including a good selection of beer - to go with the steaks.

Appetizers: Boulder Creek has its famous blooming onion (of course). They also have cheese fries, spinach & artichoke dip, jumbo stuffed potato skins, and crab cakes to name a few. They have a Boulder sampler which includes Arapaho wings, jumbo stuffed potato skins, coconut shrimp, spinach & artichoke dip.
